University affiliated (440 bed) University affiliated teaching hospital is actively recruiting. A radiology residency began July 1, 2022 with a PGY-2/R1 class and a PGY-1 integrated clinical year class. The Radiology department is rapidly expanding and is doing over 200,000 imaging exams /yr and ongoing installation of new equipment including a new IR suite. Imagers have13 weeks of pager call for Fluoro studies, weekend film reading with the team. Two radiologists work each weekend and a day off the following week is provided that is not part of vacation. Holidays are divided equally with some available for extra compensation. Average 1-2 shifts per week from home (7am – 4pm or 11am – 8pm) with no scheduled work between 8pm – 7am. Applicants interested in the 11a-8p shifts can see a higher number of home shifts. Back up coverage is available whenever required. Daily volume is 50 RVUs with credit for conferences, having residents to teach and lectures. They are actively recruiting for:

• Imagers needed - There is a high volume of specialized cases which find their fellowship trained imager. Radiologists can read a wide variety of basic exams with subspecialty cases to their individual level of expertise. Mammography is optional. Base compensation of 500-525k
• Interventional Radiologist – interested in helping expand a broad range of interventional procedures that currently include chemoembolization, cryoablation, TIPS, venous thrombectomy, mesenteric angiography, trauma embolization in addition to core procedures. This position is up to 80-100% IR. If you are interested in additional film interpretation, this can be an option. IR call responsibilities, weekdays after 5pm, weekends and holidays are all shared. IR call is 1 week out of 3 with no required diagnostic work on the weekends. Base compensation of 550-575k

All physicians are employed. Base compensation is based on experience and or faculty rank. (this amount does not include signing bonus, variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual dept. compensation plans).
